West Central COC Call for Projects

WC COC is seeking applications for new and expansion projects for the FY2026 COC Program Competition, released June 1, 2026.

Overview The purpose of the HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is to promote community-wide commitment to ending homelessness by providing funding to nonprofits and local governments to rehouse individuals and families. The program aims to address underlying causes of homelessness while minimizing the re-traumatization. The program also aims to promote access to mainstream programs, improve data collection, and optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness, helping them achieve long-term stability and connection to community.

The main project types in the HUD CoC Program are:

  • Permanent Housing (PH) (including Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Rapid Re-housing (RRH))

  • Transitional Housing (TH)

  • Supportive Services Only (SSO)

  • Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)

The FY2026 HUD CoC Program Competition introduces some new priorities for funding, including treatment and recovery-oriented programming, reducing unsheltered homelessness, and increasing participants earned income.
