Notice of local competition for the 2022 HUD NOFO and Special NOFO

The West Central Minnesota CoC is seeking project applications for the 2022 Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Continuum of Care (CoC) and Special Unsheltered and Rural Special Funding Opportunities. Any agency wishing to submit a renewal or new application in the 2022 competition should submit their Intent to Apply/Threshold Assessment form via this link.

Interested applicants should read this notice in its entirety and must submit their Notice of Intent online by the August 15th deadline to move forward in the respective competitions. Projects should also visit the CoC Competition page for additional information including the HUD NOFOs, competition pages links, CoC Project Application Packet with Scorecard, Ranking Policies, and Competition Calendar.

Amount Available:
  1. Unsheltered: $679,271 is available for new 3-year projects
  2. Rural: $803,172 is available for new 3-year projects
  3. CoC Bonus: $46,674 is available for a new 1-year projects
  4. CoC Domestic Violence Bonus: $58,044 is available for a new 1-year project.
  5. CoC Renewals: $933,489 is available for 1-year renewals (note that a portion of this funding may be available for a new project if reallocated)
System for Award Management (SAM) is the Federal Repository into which an entity must provide information required for the conduct of business as a recipient. Registration with SAM is required for submission of applications via e-snaps. You can access the website at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ . There is no cost to use SAM.
