New grantee to administer Crisis Housing Assistance Program
The Crisis Housing Assistance Program pays up to 90 days of housing assistance for persons of low or moderate income with serious mental illness who require inpatient or residential care for stabilization.
The Arc Minnesota began accepting applications on May 13, 2022. Applications are available on their Crisis Housing Assistance Program webpage. A person can apply directly, or they may authorize an “assisting agent” – such as a county or tribal worker, non-profit social service staff, or legal authority – to help them apply for funding through the Crisis Housing Assistance Program. To request a paper application, call Wendy Gerlach at 952-915-3698.
